Tim Luke joined the Ralph C. Wilson Agency in July of 2016. In his present position he serves as a Senior Account Executive with Auto Dealers Risk Solutions, the Michigan based subsidiary of RCWA.
Prior to joining RCWA Tim served as the Business Development Officer for Huntington Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of Huntington Bank. In that capacity, he was responsible for the development and implementation of cross-sell insurance business plans. He worked directly with the President and Regional Manager to implement control, consistency, and capability across the insurance platform. He identified market and prospect opportunities based on demographics, trends, and insurance deliverable solutions.
Prior to joining Huntington Tim was the Dealer Insurance Specialist for Ally Insurance, formerly GMAC Risk Services, for the entire State of Michigan and also covered Northern Ohio. In that capacity he provided numerous insurance products to franchised new car dealers including Garage Liability as well as Dealer Open Lot coverage. Ultimately he developed, wrote and serviced dozens of franchised auto dealers, setting a sales record and earning the title as MVP and All Star. Tim was also the Michigan Account Manager for Lojack Corporation, managing the marketing and sales for the State of Michigan, dramatically improving market penetration. His experience in the franchised dealer market began with Zurich North America more than 20 years earlier, where he earned multiple awards as a top producer.
Tim is a graduate of Albion College and currently holds resident licenses in the State of Michigan and non-resident licenses in other states for Property & Casualty, Life and Accident and Health. He is a “car guy” with more than 25 years of experience working with a wide variety of insurance fields from manufacturing to cyber technology but has a particular fondness for franchised automobile dealers. His strengths lie in his extraordinary ability to evaluate risk and provide valuable insight to his clients in order to assist them in reducing and in most cases successfully avoiding claim exposures!
