Pete Stava began his career in the insurance industry with The Equitable approximately 30 years ago. He made his start selling life and disability insurance products. Shortly after, he earned his securities license , allowing him to expand his business to include pensions and 401k’s.
After 10 years at The Equitable, Pete was recruited by Transamerica where he became a sales manager, responsible for the training and supervision of an agent team. While at Transamerica, he began selling employee benefits and later opened his own agency called Employee Benefits Plus.
After realizing the demand for unprecedented support and diversification, Pete joined The Ralph C. Wilson Agency, Inc. in 2006. Because the Ralph C. Wilson Agency was an already established and successful agency, Pete gained all the tools he needed to offer his clients exceptional service. He now handles all types of insurance and HR needs, whether it be group medical insurance, worker’s comp, or voluntary benefits.
Pete is also part of HR pi, an HR networking tool which allows his clients to benefit in all aspects of running a successful business. Pete prides himself on “outside the box” thinking, and strives not to be the “typical” Insurance guy.
